Measles: Protect Others – Call Ahead First
If you suspect measles, DO NOT come to your GP surgery or A&E without calling first.
This helps prevent spreading the infection.

Symptoms of Measles
What To Do
Isolate at Home
Stay at home for at least 4 full days after the rash appears.
Keep away from school, nursery, or work.
Protect Vulnerable People
Avoid contact with:
- Infants
- Pregnant women
- Anyone with a weakened immune system
Prevention
The MMR vaccine is the best protection against measles.
Catch-up doses are available for all ages.
