Emergency medication service when you run out via NHS 111:
The NHS CPCS (Community Pharmacist Consultation Service) allows patients' access to an emergency supply of medication if they run out when their GP surgery is closed, or if the usual 48 hour wait means they may be without medication for a period of time. By ringing NHS 111 free a patient may be given the option to attend another healthcare provider locally to collect a limited number of medications, allowing them time to request their medications through the usual channels at their own surgery.

IMPORTANT ALERT - MEASLES OUTBREAK
We have been notified by Public Health England that there is an ongoing measles outbreak in this area, amongst others. We urge anyone that hasn't previously had the MMR vaccine to consider having it.
For more information on measles, visit https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/measles/
Please note that if you are ringing for an emergency GP appointment for a child or another person that has a suspicious rash, please inform the receptionist when you call, thank you.
Stay Well Pharmacy Scheme launched by NHS England:
Your local Pharmacy should be your first port of call for minor illnesses. It is estimated that around 18 million GP appointments and 2.1 million visits to A&E are for minor, self-treatable conditions such as coughs and stomach troubles, costing the NHS more than £850 million each year. Please leave your GP and local A&E services for those patients' that are sickest and really need them; start to visit your local Pharmacy for advice and support from qualified healthcare staff who will can easily re-direct you to more appropriate services if they feel it's necessary.
Our NHS is in a critical condition - please help us to make it better!
